6 people including two army majors were killed in a helicopter crash in Pakistan. The Inter-Army Public Relations Office of the country has given this information in a statement.
According to the statement of the army, the accident occurred during a flying mission near Khost town of Harnai district late on Sunday night. Two helicopter pilots are also among the dead.
However, the statement did not say anything about what exactly caused the helicopter to crash. The area where the helicopter crashed was not hit by recent floods.
Earlier last August, a Pakistan Army helicopter crashed. Six people were killed in that accident. The helicopter was missing for a day before the crash. It was later found in ruins in the Musa Goth area. The ISPR statement said that the helicopter crashed due to adverse weather conditions.
