Some audio clips of Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif have been leaked. In a leaked audio, he is heard lobbying for the son-in-law of Maryam Nawaz's daughter Meherunnessa Raheel to get a government job.
After the audio leak, former Prime Minister Imran Khan single handedly took the leaders of their political party PML-N along with Shahbaz Sharif. He said, this time an audio of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz will be leaked. In the audio, Toshakhana can be heard talking about her disqualification for allegedly selling gifts.
Cricket star-turned-politician Imran Khan said in an event on Monday that another audio will be leaked in the next few days. In that audio, Nawaz Sharif can be heard saying to Maryam – Imran will be disqualified very soon due to Toshakhana.
Imran Khan said if they (Nawaz family) had any shame they would have resigned after the audio leak. However, even if they do not resign, they must be forced to resign.
Pakistan's local media Geo reported that neither Shahbaz Sharif nor Maryam Nawaz had commented on the matter after the audio was leaked on Saturday.
