According to Al Jazeera, North Korea launched the third phase of the missile within a week. Pyongyang has recently stepped up its weapons tests. Kim Jong Un's country continues to pressure the United States to accept nuclear power.
South Korea's military said it detected two short-range missile launches from Sanchon in South Pyongan Province. The missile was fired towards the east coast at around 8:48 pm.
Meanwhile, while visiting Seoul, Kamala Harris reiterated her commitment to ensure security to Asian ally South Korea.
