Tehran's close relationship with Beijing and Moscow will play an important role in invalidating the repressive US sanctions, Iranian President Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi said.

The president of Iran, who is visiting New York to attend the United Nations conference, made this comment in an interview given to the Chinese news channel CGTN on Saturday.
Iran's president said Iran's close ties with regional countries would surely defeat most US sanctions. The sanctions will automatically be lifted if ties between countries that are subject to US sanctions, including Iran, China and Russia, strengthen.

Referring to the unprecedented progress of Iran in various fields despite the strict US sanctions, Ibrahim Raisi said that it is absolutely necessary to build a new world order to end the use of arrogant power by the global imperialist power America.

He said that most of the world's people are disgusted with the current polar-centered world system starting from the colonial period. So there is no alternative to build a new world order.

He said, the new world system will be multipolar where all countries will have equal right to speak.
