Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, has made a proposal to establish peace between Russia and Ukraine. Recently Moscow added 4 regions of Ukraine to their federation. Elon Musk said to hold a referendum again in these regions.
Elon Musk's statement - The West does not accept the results of the referendum held under Russia, now let it be held under the United Nations. The people of that region can freely choose whether to go with Russia or Ukraine. Russia will withdraw its army if it loses the vote.
European leaders, including Ukraine, criticized Musk's proposal. However, Musk did not back down from his statement. He said, it doesn't matter if anyone likes his opinion. Elon Musk said, this plan of mine is capable of saving millions of lives. The people of Donbass and Crimea should decide who they will be with.
