Massive protests have been taking place in Iran for more than two weeks. 92 people have so far been killed in violence during protests over the death of Kurdish teenager Masa Amini.

Two weeks after the protests, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei opened up. He expressed support to the country's security forces. Commenting that the protest was "pre-planned", he said, "It is not a protest of the common people of Iran."
Calling the death of 22-year-old Masa Amini a "bitter event," Khamenei said, "My heart is broken by her death."

However, he condemned the incident by pointing out that some people are creating insecurity on the road due to death. "This is a planned riot," Khamenei said. For this, he blames the arch-enemies of the United States and Israel.
