93,000 Russian soldiers were killed, Ukraine claims

Ukraine's military claims to have killed another 340 Russian soldiers in the past 24 hours. With this, the number of soldiers killed since February 24 has reached more than 93,000.


The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this information in a message on Facebook. The Guardian published this information on Thursday.


According to Ukraine's General Staff, Russia lost two tanks in the battlefield on December 8, along with two armored vehicles and an artillery system. Apart from this, the Ukrainian army claimed to shoot down two Russian drones that hit civilian settlements in Ukraine. This information is provided by Ukraine. However, Russia has not commented on this claim of Ukraine.


On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military operation in Ukraine. After this, the conflict between the two countries has been going on for 288 days till today. There are reports of many casualties on both sides. However, there is no sign of an end to the fighting so far. On the contrary, the conflict between the two countries has increased in eastern Ukraine.
