Pakistan will not care about the US ban on buying fuel from Russia.
Pakistan's Minister of State for Energy Musadiq Masood Malik said this on Wednesday.
He said they are not concerned about possible US sanctions. Because they have enough foreign exchange to buy fuel.
He also said that a Russian delegation will visit Pakistan on January 20.
He said that Pakistan government has recently paid off the debt of one billion dollars to international institutions. This minister said that Russia has agreed to supply fuel to Pakistan at a low price.
Musadik Malik recently went to Russia to discuss various issues including fuel oil and gas. According to him, they got more than expected from the visit to Russia.
Pakistan's Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said a month ago that Pakistan is thinking of buying fuel from Russia at a low price.
At that time he mentioned about India, Islamabad also has the right to take this opportunity from Moscow.
Pakistan's neighbor India has long been buying fuel from Russia at low prices.
